California residents: California law may provide you with additional rights regarding OMIC’s use of your personal information. This Notice applies only to California residents and supplements OMIC’s Privacy Statement found here. If any provisions conflict, those in the California Notice apply.

This Notice is adopted to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA). Please note that some personal information collected by OMIC may not be subject to the below individual rights due to exemptions for information collected under applicable federal laws, including but not limited to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA); employment-related personal information; and certain business-to-business communications or transactions.

Right to Request

Information Collected. You may have a right to request that OMIC disclose to you the categories and/or specific pieces of personal information about you we have collected in the last twelve months, including whether your personal information is sold or disclosed, for what purpose, and with whom it was shared. Your right to request such information would be limited to twice every twelve months.

Delete Information. You may have a right to request that OMIC delete your personal information (with limitations).

How to Submit a Request

To submit a verifiable request to exercise your Rights to Request, please contact us using the information listed below. Because we take the protection of your personal information seriously, in order to process this request, your identity must be verified. We reserve the right to deny your request if we cannot verify your identity. If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will inform you of the denial, provide an explanation of our actions, and the reason for the denial.

Right to Non-Discrimination

You have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment by OMIC for exercising any of the above privacy rights. We will not restrict or deny you access to our services because of choices and requests you make in connection with your personal information.
