OMIC offers claims-made coverage to economically provide you coverage should a claim arise.

This coverage is available to protect you for incidents that happen before you join OMIC (subject to a retroactive date) and which give rise to a claim that you first become aware of after you join OMIC.

Tail provides coverage to you for claims you may report after you cancel a claims-made policy. The cost of this coverage is waived in the event of your retirementOMIC defines retirement as the total and permanent discontinuance of the clinical practice of medicine for compensation, whether private or public. An Insured is not deemed retired if the Insured receives any remuneration for providing clinical professional services., death, or permanent disability. (Performance of any compensated or uncompensated non-clinical activities or performance of any uncompensated clinical activities will not affect an Insured’s retired status.)

In addition to coverage for physicians, OMIC offers coverages for groups, entities, ambulatory surgery centers, eye banks, and other healthcare professionals and entities.
